More savings due to this site!

After reading an entry about calling "Direct TV" and asking them if they can reduce the monthly fee for "customer retention", I figured it can't hurt to ask. I didn't get as good a deal, but they did reduce my monthly fee by ten dollars. That's $120.00 a year saved, so I am grateful for the advice. Thanks!

    I called dish network after getting an offer from another company and dish basically laughed at me. We ended up staying with dish, as we would have had to buy a new box and such for the other company. They were cheaper, but we would not have seen the savings for about 3 years.
